VERY good observation. Especially for a self-proclaimed noob (sames - it's my 3rd day today). I've drawn up a quick comparison on the left, summing up the two pics and making it clearer. However, not that I'm being sceptical, this is a VERY popular door window design. Two of the three houses I've ever lived in have similar yellow, blue and white 'boxes' windows. And since the designs are not identical, it may not be significant. Since they haven't made it obvious by using an identical door, the link could be intended as somewhat subliminal or made purely by coincidence. If you look though, the window on the 79b is completely Matted so nobody can see the secret within, whereas Amy's house has a near-transparent panel, making the house seem much less Mysterious. Despite my scepticisms, this would fit in well with the 'Amy's House's second floor is a TARDIS' theory. Maybe Aunt Sharon is home, maybe she's just upstairs... | |||

This is probably not relevant, but has anyone noticed that the door up the stairs in "The Lodger" is quite similar to the door of Amy's house? The windows have the same colors and similar patterns. Are there any other references to doors/windows? I can't remember any right off.
And sorry the pictures aren't better.
