Abydos was one of the Leisure planets during the 23rd century.

Its facilities were state-of-the-art in contemporary entertainments and methods of relaxation offering a wide variety of different possibilities such as: non-gravity swimming pools and sleep-reading stations, accelerated learning experiences, and possibly robotic gladiatorial games.
