The Big Bang Two was an immensely awesome explosion caused by The Doctor in order to save every Universe from total annilhilation. In 1996, the entire Universe was collapsing due to The Doctor's TARDIS exploding and causing the Time Field. The Doctor used a Vortex manipulator and hooked it to the Pandorica, flying it into the heart of the explosion creating an explosion so powerful, it "rebooted" all of reality, closing all of the Time Fields forever. The Doctor had to be absorbed by it first but was revived on 26th June 2010 by Amy Pond's memory of him.
The Big Bang Two refers to the explosion caused by the doctor "rebooting" the universe after its destruction. In 1996, all stars in the universe had gone supernova, however the TARDIS' continuing explosion acted as a replacement sun, keeping the earth warm. When the Pandorica opened, it contained billions of atoms from the universe as it should have been, which had a restorative effect on a fossilised Dalek. The Doctor used a Vortex Manipulator to fly the Pandorica directly into the heart of the explosion, which was taking place at every point of time at the same time. This meant that the particles from within the Pandorica were scattered at every point in time, allowing their rejeuvenating effect to restore the universe, and as a result, the cracks in time never existed.
