I was waiting for something else to happen, but it didn't. I was hoping to see more of the Alliance and more Daleks or Cybermen. --[[User:Donovan-j-charlie|Donovan-j-charlie]] 18:16, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

I know your pain dude I just posted a forum about this again sorry dis the Moff he wrote some of my fave new who stories and he is an incredibly talented excellent writer but this was not a great finale. Winehousefan, 19:25, June 26, 2010 [UTC]

Look, if you guys want armies of robots firing hundreds of laser beams per second back and forth with lots of spaceships and explosions and expensive special effects in the background, go watch the Star Wars prequels. Did you not feel the claustrophobia in TBB? Did you not pick up on the urgency of having an entire empty universe closing in around them? Did you not notice how things were vanishing and ceasing to exist, and the paranoia of knowing that our heroes' lives were nothing more than fragile soap bubbles that could wink out of existence at any second? That's way scarier than the huge armies we're all tired of by now. "Oh, last season we had a thousand Daleks, this time we'll have ten thousand. So that will be ten times scarier, right?" The Alliance served its purpose. It showed that all of the Doctor's major enemies had gathered to seal him away in the Pandorica .... AND ... when the Universe ceased to exist, we saw how EVERY single last one of them had turned to dust. All of the Doctor's major enemies, against whom he's struggled for his entire lives, gone in an instant. Quite a powerful and serious event to cause that to happen. This was never supposed to be a Cyberman or Dalek story or any other race for that matter. 24.130.237.226 08:42, June 27, 2010 (UTC)
