Michael Beek is a writer, film music journalist, critic and Editor of Music from the Movies.com, a webzine devoted to film music. Contributing to numerous CD sleeves and concert programmes, Michael has written notes for the soundtrack albums for Doctor Who Series 4 and Torchwood: The Children of Earth. He also penned the programme notes and feature articles for The Doctor Who Proms in 2008 and 2010.
