Susie Fontana Brooke, born in 2059, was the daughter of Emily Brooke and the grandaughter of Captain Adelaide Brooke. Her grandmother was the first woman to land on Mars and was in charge of Bowie Base One; she died following the destruction of the base, despite the efforts of the Doctor. Because of her grandmothers actions Susie was inspired to go into Space. This dream would be fufilled when she captained Humanity's first ever lightspeed ship to Proxima Centauri.
