Century House was an unmade script created by Tom MacRae, the script was to be the tenth episode of the fourth series. The Doctor joins a live broadcast of paranormal reality show Most Haunted, investigating an old house purportedly haunted by the “Red Widow”, while Donna watches at home.
The script was dropped due to Russell T Davies feeling that the story's comedic tone was too similar to the seventh episode of the series, The Unicorn and the Wasp (they were originally planned to air back-to-back), and he was unsatisfied with the premise he'd given MacRae. The script thus was replaced by Russell's Midnight. (REF: Doctor Who Magazine Special Edition #20, Doctor Who: The Writer's Tale)
