Synopsis

A strange phenomenon occurs in the Space-Time Manipulator that heralds the imminent arrival of the Korven pan-dimensional invasion force. Thorne is plotting to help them and has as his back up a sinister secret weapon that has K9's regeneration circuit implanted making it indestructable. K9 faces his biggest threat ever. Emotions run high and Gryffen and the youngsters face the unknown as their world faces utter destruction.

Plot

The STM activates and brings together a black hole and a white hole. As the two objects get desperately close to fusion, Gryffen sends Darius to go collect June while K-9 flies off to retrieve his regeneration circuit from Thorne at The Millennium Dome, Starkey and Jorjie pursuing the tin dog just in case. Gryffen in the meantime tries to avert the space-time explosion that will occur when the two holes fuse together to form a gray hole. K-9 is beaten by Thorne's pet, a gigantic behemoth called “Project Trojan” made by mixing together the DNA of every single alien and monster ever encountered by K-9 and his friends, from the Jixen to the Etydions. He is wired up to a Korven cryo pod and forced to siphon the space-time energy from the preemptive explosion of the STM into The Dome. This generates a portal that allows the Korven pan-dimensional invasion force to make their entry, led by non other than, LOMAX! Meanwhile, Darius finds June who has been demoted to a petty constable. The two escape as the CCPC secure the entire city under Thorne's orders, restraining every single civilian. Starkey and Jorjie make it to the Dome and share a moment of romance before being interrupted by The CCPC. They catch up to K-9 in time to see the Korven arrive and learn the shocking truth that Thorne is a Meron/Korven hybrid. As Darius and June make their way to the mansion, The Professor tries to use the temporal stabilizer to shut down the STM but only makes things much worse. Thorne had predicted this and wanted it to happen all along, however Gryffen manages to overcome his agoraphobia and make it to The Dome, screaming out the voice activated shutdown code for The STM, causing the black and white holes to fuse, the Korven being sucked into the cataclysm and destroyed as the STM explodes. Thorne tries to use Trojan to kill K-9 but the extremely weakened K-9 promptly uses a recording of a Jixen sonar attack to turn Trojan against itself, sending it toppling over and squashing Thorne. K-9 however used up all his energy and his power-core is now burnt out. The regeneration circuit was in Trojan and thus K-9 is no more. Back at the mansion, K-9 dies but his companions bid farewell to him before he goes, only to have the regeneration circuit home back to it's master, triggering his rebirth into K-9 Mark 3. The new K-9 than flies off to more adventures. In the meantime, June offers Darius a job at The Department if it survives the incident.
