Detective Robots were small androids used as the law enforcement agents of Sunset Strip. They were immensely durable due to their hollow body casing which, being made of duralinium, doubled as secure containers. They were the product of Acme Industries, New Brentford, Earth. Detective Robots were often in the pay of the gang bosses and used as minders/protective agents. Thanks to the Tenth Doctor, they were able to break their programming with the code 5678/2345 Alpha Delta Alpha, which gave them a new purpose: to clean up the gangs and restore law and order.
