The Vikings were Scandinavian pirates and raiders who plundered Europe from the from the 8th to 10th centuries.
During the 9th century, a group of Vikings stole the flask containing Fenric, taking it to Northumbria and Maiden's Point. They buried the flash beneath St. Jude's Church, leaving a runic inscription warning that the flask was cursed. Their descendents settled the area. (DW: The Curse of Fenric)
