• 1968 - DW: Fury from the Deep, Episode 3 was first broadcast.

• 1974 - DW: The Monster of Peladon, Part Two was first broadcast.

• 1982 - DW: Time-Flight, Part Four was first broadcast.

• 1984 - Part Four of DW: The Twin Dilemma was first broadcast.

• 1985 - Part Two of DW: Revelation of the Daleks was first broadcast.

• 2005 - Christopher Eccleston announced that he will not return for a second series as the Doctor.

• 2007 - Seventies writer Dave Martin, who co-wrote many stories and co-created K9 with Bob Baker, died from lung cancer.
