Doctor Who assistant directors is for 1st ADs, 2nd ADs and 3rd ADs in the BBC Wales era, or people who were known to be assistant directors during the 1963 version of the show.

It is not for people who are credited as plain, un-numbered assistant directors by the BBC Wales show — beginning with A Christmas Carol — who are actually runners, and therefore belong in the category, Doctor Who runners.
