He eventually tells her that he doesn't "see it". He starts to explain that making space your "backyard" for 907 years, everything jist becomes "stuff" but that she can see it. She ignores that theory and wonders if there were other companions. He responds very shyly and says "some, maybe a few....". She asks if she could see the visual records. The Doctor explains that they're "voice locked". So Amy tries to open them by saying a command. When the Doctor corrects her by explaining that a voice lock only responds to his voice while inadvertently says the command, so then pictures of all companions appeared on the visualizer.
