Bacon was a food prepared from pigs, originating on Earth. The Doctor destroyed a Glutonoid with a toxic mixture that was flavoured with, among other things; bacon. (DWBIT: The Glutonoid Menace)
Vicki used the Doctor's Food machine to create a substance that tasted akin to bacon and eggs adorned with brown sauce. (ST: 1963)
