- 1851: The Cybus Cybermen try to conquer Earth. The Cyber-King attacks London for a brief period of time but is destroyed by the Doctor and sends it to the Time Vortex. (DW: The Next Doctor)
- 2006: The Doctor, Rose Tyler, and Mickey Smith stop an invasion of Earth by the Sycorax. (DW: The Christmas Invasion)
- 2008: A spacegoing replica of the RMS Titanic, also called the Titanic, narrowly avoids a planned collision with Buckingham Palace thanks to the timely intervention of the Doctor. (DW: Voyage of the Damned) Had it hit, London would have been destroyed in a nuclear blast. (DW: Turn Left)
