The Vampire Lovers was a 2|entertain documentary on the making of State of Decay and was released on the DVD of the serial. It severed as a general account of the serial's production.
It focused on the final emersion of the script after three years and how it had changed. It also looked at the design of the story, showing how a room could be made to look bigger with simple effects. This was used for the Hydrax's throne room.
