Mrs Hamil was an elderly woman living in Upper Leadworth. Along with the other pensioners of the town, she lived in a home. When the Dream Lord created a fictional world, Mrs Hamil was taken over by an Eknodine, an alien race who took over the bodies of the elderly, keeping her alive for much longer than usual. She greeted Rory by saying "Hello Doctor", which confused the Doctor, thinking she was talking to him. Later, as Amy and Rory were returning to their house, Mrs Hamil approached them. Rory told Amy that she loved him as he cured her depression. An eye protruded from her mouth and shot a green cloud at the couple. They avoided it and Rory took up a plank of wood and whacked Mrs Hamil so that he and Amy could make an escape. She fell to the ground. Later she tried to break into Rory and Amy's house with the rest of the elderly. (DW: Amy's Choice)
