William Mervyn (born William Mervyn Pickwoad, 3rd January 1912-6th August 1976) played Sir Charles Summer in the Doctor Who serial The War Machines.
He was the father of BBC Wales production designer, Michael Pickwoad. (CON: Christmas Special 2010)
