History
Distant past
Although generally believed not only uninhabited but uninhabitable by the scientists of 20th and early 21st century Earth, in fact several civilizations called the planet home. 3 billion years BCE, though the planet had a civilization. (MA: Venusian Lullaby)
20th century
In 1970, a small cult known as the Venus People, led by Arlo, believed that God would return from Venus soon, and bring judgement. (PDA: The Devil Goblins from Neptune)
In the 1970s, Professor Logan claimed to have planned and executed a manned mission to Venus, but this was exposed as a fraud. (TVC: Doctor Who and the Rocks from Venus)
21st century
During Zoe Heriot's time, Human scientists found flowers living on the planet. Space Station W3 had some aboard. (DW: The Wheel in Space)
