The Jailer was a middle-aged human who worked as a jailer at the Bedlam Royal Hospital in 1599. He was the jailer in charge of Peter Streete, he let the Tenth Doctor, Martha Jones and William Shakespeare in to see him. (DW: The Shakespeare Code)
