Mr Redpath was the grandson of Mrs Peace and he went to visit her deceased corpse in Gabriel Sneed's funeral parlour. He mourned her and it was then that the Gelth possessed his grandmother's body. She began strangling him, then snapped his neck. The Gelth also later possessed his body and used him for their purposes. He attempted to kill Rose Tyler and then spoke to the Ninth Doctor before being set free, thus becoming a corpse once more. (DW: The Unquiet Dead)
