Tairngire was a peaceful human colony world. Its capital was New Byzantium and it was ruled by the Prefect of New Byzantium. Amongst its attractions were a Lantern Market, an undersea centre and an Unreality Park. It also contained oil fields. In 2670 they started to colonise the planet of Arden. (NA: Shadowmind)
