"Merry Xmas Everybody", by Slade was a popular Christmas song on the planet Earth.

The song was playing on Mickey Smith's garage's radio when the newly-regenerated Doctor crash-landed on the Powell Estate on Christmas Eve 2006. (DW: The Christmas Invasion)

In 2007, the song was playing at Donna Noble's first wedding reception. (DW: The Runaway Bride) It also was heard on the radio in an alternate version of Christmas 2007. (DW: Turn Left)

In 2017 the song was played in the Black Swan pub in Cheldon Bonniface. (ST: Not in My Back Yard)
