Thomas was Tobias Philby's servant. He helped Philby conduct his time travel experiments, and was with him when the villagers set fire to his house. Thomas then accompanied Philby in the Doctor's TARDIS and traveled with him and the Third Doctor to a World War I battlefield. (TVC: The Amateur)
