Biography
On the guard's first day on the job, he answered a call at River Song's cell. The call was from 1941 (made by Winston Churchill), who was trying to reach the Doctor, but had the call rerouted by the TARDIS as it doesn't always work. He was confused when Winston asked for the Doctor, thinking he wished to talk to Doctor River Song.
River quickly took the phone from him. After River recieved instructions from Winston, she put on her Hallucinogenic lipstick with her back turned to the guard and asked the guard if he was new before returning the phone. Apologizing, River kissed him and drew a stick figure of herself on the wall to distract him while she packed what she needed and headed out.
By the time reinforcements arrived, he was in Song's cell pointing a gun at the picture, thinking it was really River and that her lipstick hadn't worked on him. (DW: The Pandorica Opens)
