Just some thoughts about Autons, Gangers, Centurions, and quantum pregnancies... (I realize this is now a spoiler zone, but still... Warning! Spoilers!)

I'm just going to predict one of two things.
1) Rory's going to get mortally wounded next week in The Almost People (because, let's face it, he's getting to be a little bit of a Kenny) and somebody (probably Jennifer) is going to chuck him into a Ganger interface before he dies. Presto! Rory's sympathy for human replicants finally goes from implied to overt, and Rory picks back up the Roman cape and armor as a Ganger.
2) Amy's pregancy fluctuations aren't because she's fluctuating - they're because Rory's fluctuating (making the little girl something of a Schrödinger's Cat). The Universe can't decide whether he's Human or Auton. That's why he suddenly self-resucitated in Spot (plastic doesn't drown), that's why his memory is like a door, and that's why sometimes he has/hasn't impregnated Amy. At some point (possibly next week) his identification with the Ganger replicants somehow causes his Auton replicant-ness to be chosed/revealed/whatever.
Either one of these scenarios is why they were blatantly suppressing his motivation for sympathizing with the Gangers in Part 1. One way or another they've got to out that in Part 2. And then we can proceed to that photo-op with the cape and the Cybermen (also 'once-humans', incidentally). [[User:Wibbly-Wobbly|Wibbly-Wobbly]] 23:50, May 22, 2011 (UTC)
