Neve McIntosh played Alaya and Restac in The Hungry Earth and Cold Blood, and Madam Vastra in A Good Man Goes to War. She is best known to fantasy fans for playing Lady Fuchsia in the 2000 miniseries Gormenghast.
Neve was born on the same day that Part One of Day of the Daleks was first broadcast.
