I would just like to hear other peoples views on what year the Sarah Jane Adventures Series 1 and Torchwood Series 2 are set in? --Gallifreyisgreater 17:26, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- Adrift takes place in October or around that time, so late 2008.
- I have a recollection that SJA is supposedly a little further into the future (a year or two?) due to a reference to how long it had been since School Reunion Voltaire53 12:36, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
It was confirmed somewhere that SJA takes place in 2009. Torchwood series 2 is around about the same. The evil dude62.164.242.135 14:11, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Torchwood 2 can't be too far ahead of Doctor Who 3. I'd go with Doctor Who 3 in June, and Torchwood 2 in July - September 2008. SJA is at least 18 months after School Reunion, so I'd place SJA 1 as September 2008 onwards. Jack's the man - 15:40, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
I've recently been frustrated by the lack of a clearer dating for these events, and reading this I've kind of decided to just go for it and spend some time hunting possible hints and references. One interesting thing I've found so far though; "to the last man" clearly shows two different calenders depicting the day as Friday the 20th. That would make it most likely Friday June 2008. That is, if it's not already Friday 20th February (or March) of 2009. -- Capricorn 00:55, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
