The Phillipines is an island-formed nation in the Pacific Ocean and part of southeastern Asia.
In 2059, the Phillipines was rumoured to be working on a Mars rocket. Margaret Cain thought a surprise visitor to Bowie Base One might be a Filipino astronaut. (DW: The Waters of Mars)
