If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.
When I first started on this wiki, I rember there used to be quotes at the top of pages, although I may be mistaken. Mabye we could try this, so for example at the top of the Tenth Doctor page we could have something like: "Alonze!" - Tenth Doctor and for River Song page we could have: "The only water in the forest is the river" - Idris. I think it would work. Any ideas? User:Ghastly9090/sig 18:33, June 28, 2011 (UTC)
I think this policy was discontinued as user's could never settle on one quote to have on the page and it started arguements between them. --Revan\Talk 18:41, June 28, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, Revan has the right idea. If you take a look at Forum:Quotes and Forum:Quote pages - revisited, it was decided that they were not encyclopaedic.----Skittles the hog--Talk 18:58, June 28, 2011 (UTC)
- Just to chime in, these discussions led to the language which is now at Tardis:Manual of Style#Quotations. This 'possum, as they say, has done been cooked.
