The Church of England was a denomination of Christianity, head by the Archbishop of Canterbury. The Ice Warrior Xztaynz followed the groups teaching. Xznaal ordered him to have the "teacher caste" teach Reformed Martian. However, Xztaynz warned him this would be unpopular with the Archbishop and so Xznaal told him to behead and replace him.
