Via has been credited on projects dating back to 2000, but his first lengthy job in television was on The Shield. He's also worked on Sons of Anarchy with future Torchwood producers Kelly A. Manners and Skip Schoolnik, as well as The Walking Dead, also with Schoolnik. He also edited The Mist, a film that employed several Miracle Day key departments, including Gregory Melton, Howard Berger and Gregory Nicotero.
