The Alps was a European mountain range. One of the countries it stretched across was Switzerland.
History
- In the 3rd century BC, the Doctor accompanied Hannibal as he crossed the Alps. (NA: Shadowmind) To cross the mountains, Hannibal used vinegar to dissolve boulders. (DW: World War Three)
- In 1963, Nyssa was accidentally teleported to the Swiss Alps, as the Spillagers were close to reaching Earth. (BFA: Winter for the Adept)
