Doris Lethbridge-Stewart was the second wife of Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart.

They first met at Brighton in the mid-1960s and had a brief but passionate romance, which ended amicably when Alistair was sent overseas. Their relationship has been indicated to have been sexual. (DW: Planet of the Spiders, DWM: The Warkeeper's Crown)

She went on to marry, but her husband George Wilson was killed in Northern Ireland. (MA: The Scales of Injustice)

In the 1990s, the Brigadier would re-encounter Doris and eventually marry her. (DW: Battlefield, DWM: A Romantic Evening) They lived together in a large house in the country. (DW: Battlefield)

During a boat outing in the 2010s, the Lethbridge-Stewarts' boat capsized and Doris was drowned. (EDA: The Shadows of Avalon)

A conflicting account shows Doris having Christmas dinner with the Brigadier and the Eighth Doctor in 2017. (ST: Not in My Back Yard)
