Colin then attempted to hide any evidence of Vera's murder. He instructed Ralph to take Vera's car out of the overflow camp, while he put the camp in lock down so that people would assume that Vera had already left. He later found out that [[Rex Matheson]] had been captured inside the camp, and wanted to speak to the person in charge of the camp. Rex informed Colin that Vera had been murdered in the module, without realizing that Colin was responsible, and showed Colin a video that he took of Vera's death. Rex asked Colin to let him go, and Colin responded by sticking his pen in Rex's wound. [[Esther Drummond]] soon arrived, claiming that she had received a phone call from Dr. Juarez. Colin was obviously able to tell that she was lying and attacked her. Esther then managed to strangle Colin until he was unconscious. However, when she tried to retrieve the keys from his pocket to free Rex, Colin regained consciousness and attempted to strangle Esther.
