Article of the month

Mark Gatiss has been a major creative force in Doctor Who since the 1990s. He's written for practically every medium in which the franchise licenses stories. His fourth and latest television story — series six's Night Terrors — aired in September 2011. He is also an actor, and has contributed to both audio and tele-visual Doctor Who. While other writers have occasionally appeared in Doctor Who, he is, in his words, "the only person so far to write for the series and be in it [at least] twice." Certainly, he is the only writer to have ever played the central villain of a televised Doctor Who story. Read more.
