Frances Fisher (born 11th May 1952) is a British actress, known for her work in television, theatre and films. Her roles have included Strawberry Alice, the madame prostitute in Unforgiven, and Ruth DeWitt Bukater, the mother of Kate Winslet's mother in Titanic. More recently, she played The Mother Colasanto in the Torchwood story The Gathering.
