Nyder was a Lieutenant in the Kaled's Military Elite.
Biography
Following a rescue operation of Davros from a Thal dome, Davros promoted Nyder to Security Commander prior to Davros' take-over of the Kaled government. (BFD: Guilt) He was Davros' most trusted associate, and personal aide, icily efficient he obeyed Davros's every order. He was exterminated by the Daleks as he tried to carry out Davros's instructions to shut off the Dalek production line.

Behind the scenes
- Aside from his appearance in I, Davros chapter 4: Guilt, Peter Miles returned in the role of Nyder for two one-off productions of a play, The Trial of Davros. In the first production he appeared alongside Michael Wisher, the original actor to play Davros. In the second, following Wisher's death, he appeared alongside Terry Molloy, who took over the role of Davros from Resurrection of the Daleks onward.
