Clahow was the home world of bird-people whose birdsong could be more devastating than a cannon if they wished. The birds were able to communicate with other species with some sort of universal translator. They were aided in the fight against the arrival of a Rezyar robot warship in the sky, first by Georges Guynemer (who arrived with his First World War plane through a space-time rift) and the Doctor.
