Meera Syal (born 27th June 1961) played Dr. Nasreen Chaudhry in the Doctor Who stories The Hungry Earth and Cold Blood. Syal reads the audio story The Gemini Contagion and the audiobook release of the novel Borrowed Time. She is married to Sanjeev Bhaskar.
