Professor Daniel "Danny" Llewellyn was the Welsh project manager at the British Rocket Group charged with overseeing the Guinevere One space probe on its mission to Mars. (DW: The Christmas Invasion) He had a five year old daughter called Sian.
He had a Masters in Areology from Swansea University and spent three years art NASA, 1998-2001 before being headhunted by the the British Rocket Group. He would become renowned as one of the architects of Britain's new space programme. Specifically, Llewelynn created the Guinevere One project in 2003, naming it Guinevere due to his love of Arthurian legend. (WEB: Guinevere One: About Guivere)
