"Nightshade" may refer to:
- A Doctor Who New Adventure novel titled "Nightshade," written by Mark Gatiss and featuring the Seventh Doctor and Ace.
- In the Doctor Who Universe, a science fiction/mystery television series, "Nightshade," which ran on the BBC from 1953 -1958, and starred Edmund Trevithick as the title character, Professor Nightshade.
- Deadly nightshade or belladonna, a poisonous plant of the Family Solanaceae, native to Earth, rich in alkaloidal glucosides that can be fatal in small quantities. The First Doctor found that nightshade was being used to poison the water supply of the planet Sense Sphere ("The Sensorites").
