Cedric Matthews was a ten-year-old student at Arkwood Private School. A genius, he used his skill at chemistry to create a formula which enhanced aggression and tested it on the animals at a local zoo his class visited on a field trip. When the normally peaceful animals suddenly became aggressive, the Third Doctor and the Brigadier arrived to investigate.
