In the early stories, it was implied that the Stranger and Miss Brown were the [[Sixth Doctor]] and [[Peri]]. Later on, the Stranger was given the identity of Solomon, and the pretence of the series being the further adventures of the Doctor was dropped.

The Stranger was a series of six videos and four audio dramas produced by Bill Baggs Video and made on a semi-professional basis. They featured Colin Baker as a traveler in time and space known as the Stranger, later revealed as Solomon.

History

The first three videos in the series featured Nicola Bryant as the Stranger's companion, "Miss Brown", obvious analogues to the Sixth Doctor and Peri. The second video, More Than A Messiah remade the Audio Visuals fan audio of the same name.

It was later that the Stranger was given his own backstory and an the identity of Solomon, and the series diverged from the Doctor Who Universe.
