Captian Hardaker was the captain of the Starship Titanic. He was ordered by Max Capricorn to keep the shields off so that the asteroids would hit the Titanic. When Midshipman Alonzo Frame tried to turn them back on, Hardaker shot him. Frame survived, but Hardaker was killed as soon as the ship was hit. (DW: Voyage of the Damned)
