Lisa Hallett worked at Torchwood Tower in London during the time of the Battle of Canary Wharf. Along with many others of the Torchwood personnel she was partially upgraded into a Cyberman. Not a victim of the full cyber-conversion process, she had Cyber-technology added on to her Human body. After the battle, her boyfriend (Ianto Jones) transported her to Torchwood 3 in Cardiff.
