Kane and Xana were part of a criminal gang on the planet Proamon. Kane was exiled after capture by security forces to the cold, dark side of Svartos. Once there he became the ruler of the space trading colony Iceworld. Kane was so cold, that he could kill humans by simply touching them and would die if exposed to direct sunlight. Kane's main henchmen was Belazs. Kane killed himself when the Doctor informed him that Proamon's sun had gone supernova, leaving no one else on which to take his revenge. (DW: Dragonfire)
