The Inland Revenue was a British organisation responsible for taxation (predominantly direct taxes) within the United Kingdom. Ronald Turvey was arrested after the Inland Revenue deemed him guilty of tax fraud. (BFA: Cuddlesome). The organisation has since been merged into HM Revenue & Customs.
