Naomi Alderman is an English author who wrote the Eleventh Doctor BBC New Series Adventures novel Borrowed Time.

Works

Alderman's prose debut was the 2006 novel Disobedience, a story about a Rabbi's daughter who comes out as a lesbian. That successful work was followed by another novel, The Lessons, in 2010.

Apart from novels, Alderman is known for writing a regular column on technology for the Guardian[1]

Doctor Who

With the publication of Borrowed Time, Alderman became the first Jewish woman to write a licenced Doctor Who novel.

A longtime Doctor Who fan, Alderman has cited Peter Davison as her childhood favourite Doctor.[2]
