David Hasselhoff was an American television actor. He also experienced success as a pop music singer in Europe. In this capacity, he performed at the falling of the Berlin Wall. The Tenth Doctor once remarked that he had gone twice to the event in order to avoid Hasselhoff's singing. (NSA: Autonomy)
